Coconut Oil Production Process – Step by Step
1. Coconut Preprocessing
Fresh coconuts undergo thorough cleaning to remove dirt, stones, and other impurities. Depending on the production method, the coconuts are either de-husked manually or mechanically before moving to the next stage. Our de-husking and deshelling machines ensure quick and efficient preparation of raw materials.
2. Copra Drying (Optional)
For copra-based oil extraction, the coconut meat is dried using solar dryers, mechanical dryers, or hot air dryers. Drying reduces moisture content, improving oil yield and extending storage life.
3. Crushing and Pressing
The dried or fresh coconut meat is crushed and fed into mechanical oil presses.
Cold pressing is used to produce virgin coconut oil, preserving natural aroma and nutrients.
Hot pressing is used for higher yield in standard coconut oil production.
Our advanced screw presses and expellers are designed for high extraction efficiency while maintaining oil quality.
4. Crude Oil Filtration
After pressing, the crude coconut oil contains small solids and moisture. We provide vacuum filters, leaf filters, and centrifugal separators to purify the oil before refining.
5. Coconut Oil Refining
To meet international quality standards, the crude oil undergoes refining. Our refining process includes:
Degumming and Neutralization: Removal of gums and free fatty acids
Bleaching: Removal of pigments and contaminants
Deodorization: Elimination of odors and flavors

6. Packaging and Storage
